Special menu to present traditional Bulgarian cuisine to tourists

Work has started with the aim to create a national Bulgarian menu, which is to select traditional dishes and wines. The idea is that the menu could be helpful and informative to foreign tourists in Bulgaria. This has become clear at a meeting between the Minister of Tourism Mariana Nikolova and the Rector of the University of Food Technology in Plovdiv Plamen Mollov.

Each of the regions in the country will be represented with their typical food and wines, with focus put on uniqueness. The ministry points out that in recent years gourmet tourism has been becoming increasingly popular.
