Caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev announced at a briefing at the Novo Selo training ground that the government has successfully dealt with vote buying. He gave an example with the increased number of inspections of the voting machines - about 670 compared to less than 100 in the previous elections.
"I did not hear about any startling facts related to conducting the elections. The issue is overcoming the perception of Bulgarian citizens that they cast their vote but they do not know where it goes. We achieved a good result," Glavchev said.
He expressed hope that a stable regular government would be formed after the elections.
