Eight inflatable boats used to transport migrants illegally from the EU to the UK across the English Channel have been confiscated at the Lesovo border checkpoint on the border with Turkey. They were declared to customs authorities as signboards and mattresses, BNR correspondent Daniela Kostova reported. The boats were found during an inspection of a truck entering from Turkey, driven by a Romanian citizen.
