Premier Nikolay Denkov: Greatest victories can be achieved peacefully

Representatives of the Bulgarian Armed Forces are taking part in the nationwide celebrations marking the 138th anniversary of the Unification of Bulgaria, the Ministry of Defense said. The 138th anniversary of the Unification of the Principality of Bulgaria with Eastern Rumelia was solemnly celebrated in front of the Memorial Tomb of Alexander I of Battenberg in Sofia. Bulgaria’s Premier Nikolay Denkov and the country’s Minister of Defense Todor Tagarev laid wreaths. 

"The greatest victories can be achieved peacefully, if we use the methods of diplomacy in the right way, if we find allies, if we know what we are fighting for and have a common goal",  Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov said at the ceremony. Later, the National Guard Unit performed a ceremonial change of the guard of honour in front of the Presidential Administration building.
