Wildfire near Kazanluk nears depots of arms and munitions factory

A wildfire broke out in a wooded area between Kazanluk and Muglizh, BNR-Stara Zagora reports. The fire is spreading over a wide front and is nearing the munition depots of the Arsenal munition and weapons plant

Seven teams of firefighters are on site, forestry workers and volunteers are also taking part in the efforts to extinguish the fire; equipment from the Arsenal factory is also being used. A team of firefighters and a bulldozer are on duty at the depots with the aim of preventing the fire from reaching the depots of weapons. At this point there is no danger to the population, the fire department in Stara Zagora says.
