Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 17 August 2023

Sunny and hot weather expected on Thursday

It will be sunny on Thursday. The minimum temperatures will be from 16 to 24°C, in Sofia - 16°C. Daytime highs will range from 31 to 36°C, in the capital - 31°C.

It will be mostly sunny along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. Maximum air temperatures will be between  27-30°C. The temperature of the sea water is 24-25°C. 

It will be sunny over the mountains with variable northeast wind. The temperature at 1,200 m above sea level will be up to 27°C, at 2,000 m - up to 19°C.

On Friday and Saturday it will be sunny as the temperatures will go higher.

In Europe it will be cloudy with possible precipitation in Norway, Sweden and Finland, in the afternoon it will rain over northern France and the British Isles. In the Balkans, it will be sunny, there will be clouds over the northwestern massifs, and precipitation is possible there. It will be 24 and 28°Cin London and Paris. 25 and 28°C  are expected in Berlin and Moscow. In Madrid and Athens it will be 36 and 34°C. It will be 31 and 36°C in Belgrade and Bucharest, 31°C in Istanbul. The hottest European capital will be Rome with highs of 37°C.

In Vancouver and Montreal it will be 26°C and 24°C, in Chicago and in New York it will be 28°C and 25°C. 30° is expected in Los Angeles, 32°C and 22° in Miami and Mexico City, 21°C and 26° in Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro. It will be 42°C in Dubai, 33°C in Jerusalem.
