No Covid-related deaths registered in Bulgaria in past day

221 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 3,938 tests performed. The positivity rate stands at 5.6%, versus 4.66% on Wednesday, according to the portal coronavirus.bg. More than 56% of the new Covid-19 cases are among the unvaccinated.

The number of active cases in the country is down by 218 to 4,486. The number of new hospital admissions in the past day is 41, of them 25 or 61% are not vaccinated. The number of patients being treated in hospital is down by 19 to 370, of them 42 in intensive care units.

No Covid-related deaths have been registered in the past 24 hours. 439 people have been reported cured.

569 vaccine doses were administered on Wednesday.
