Only 5% of the hospitalized patients have severe Covid-19. Hospital bed occupancy is 4%, but the health system is not overloaded, outgoing Minister of Health Asena Serbezova said in Parliament. Omicron continues to be the dominant variant, Asena Serbezova pointed out. In Sofia-City, Varna and Burgas districts, the coronavirus incidence rate is above the national average. The number of patients is expected to increase gradually. The spread of Covid-19 can be contained if anti-pandemic measures are observed.
