Maternity ward in Troyan-based hospital closes until Friday

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Multi-profile Hospital for Active Treatment in Troyan was closed on Monday, because its medical staff tested positive for Covid-19 and was placed under a mandatory quarantine. It will remain closed until Friday, February 11. The Multi-profile Hospital for Active Treatment in Troyan tops the ranking in terms of the number of babies born in Lovech district.

The pregnant women will be redirected to the hospital in Lovech. The women who are currently in the maternity ward of the hospital in Troyan are under the supervision of a doctor who is not under quarantine, the correspondent of the Bulgarian National Radio Plamen Hristov informs.
