Sofia will host the European Jazz Conference, organized in September by the European Jazz Network and A to Z Foundation (EJN member from Bulgaria). "This forum helps in coordinating festivals, clubs, cultural institutions that take care of the development of jazz music," organizer Petar Dimitrov of the A to Z Foundation has told BNR-Radio Sofia. The selection of Bulgarian projects that will be presented to the elite of European jazz has already begun.
The forum will bring together over 500 international experts - festival directors, programmers, and music journalists. "We have a lot to show, but it must be well-packaged and well-designed," Petar Dimitrov says.
