From 4.00 am on Monday 19 July Bulgaria will move to the green list for entering England and Scotland. As of this date, if Bulgarians have been in or through the country or a territory of the green list in the 10 days before they arrive in England, they will not be placed under a ten-day mandatory quarantine upon arrival.

Before travel to England Bulgarians must:

-Complete a passenger locator form (PLF). They can submit the form in the 48 hours before they arrive in the UK.

-Take a Covid-19 test up to 72 hours (3 days) before departure.

-Book and pay for day 2 Covid-19 travel test- to be taken after arrival.

On arrival in England, Bulgarian citizens must:

-Take a Covid-19 test on day 1 or day 2 after arrival. They do not need to quarantine, unless their Covid-19 test result is positive.

-They must self-isolate, if the application NHS Test & Trace informs them that they have travelled with a person whose Covid-19 test result is positive.
