The European Capitals and Cities of Sports Federation (ACES Europe) awarded the World Capital of Sport 2024 title to Bulgaria’s capital Sofia, because of the innovations and good practices introduced when the capital city was European Capital of Sport 2018, announced the Mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova.
