Bulgaria expects new shipment of 30,000 vaccines of AstraZeneca

More than 30,000 doses of the Astra Zeneca vaccine are expected to arrive in Sofia on February 12th, said the executive director of the Bulgarian Medicines Agency, Bogdan Kirilov. A total of 360,000 doses of the vaccine is the amount Bulgaria will receive in February, Kirilov stressed.

He announced that we expect confirmation from the European Commission for all deliveries of vaccines for March. We expect over 400,000 doses in March, which will correspond to the national vaccination plan, Kirilov added.
