50 countries have agreed to open polling sections for Bulgaria's parliamentary elections in April

To date, 50 countries have agreed to open polling sections on their territory for the upcoming Bulgarian parliamentary elections, in compliance with local anti-epidemic measures. This was announced by Bulgaria's Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva, quoted by BGNES.
According to Zaharieva, there are various difficulties surrounding the elections scheduled by Bulgaria's President Rumen Radev for April 4, with the biggest problem remaining the coronavirus pandemic. Due to it, in a number of countries there are requirements for mandatory PCR tests, which causes difficulties with the delivery of ballots.
Additionally, the date of April 4, when Catholic countries celebrate Easter, will complicate the process due to a series of non-working days.
