Some vaccinated Bulgarians will undergo tests aimed to clarify the effectiveness of the Covid-19 vaccine, this country’s Chief State Health Inspector Associate Professor Angel Kunchev announced in Plovdiv. In the beginning, the studies will cover 1,000 people who will be tested on the second and the sixth month, as well as one and two years after the inoculation, Angel Kunchev said, quoted by BTV.

Earlier today, during a visit to a Sofia hospital, Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov said that Bulgaria would receive different types of vaccines and GPs would be able to recommend different vaccines to their patients. Boyko Borissov noted that an increase in the number Covid-19 recoveries and a decrease in Covid-19 deaths has been registered in recent days which eased the pressure on Bulgaria’s health system.
