On the occasion of the Easter holidays and in connection with the unusual circumstances at Easter time, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) is affording free access to the three jubilee publications compiled to mark the 150th anniversary of its foundation.

According to the BAS, the richly illustrated publications “The building of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences – a symbol of knowledge and spirit”, “Philanthropy and the benefactors of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences1869 – 2019” and “A concise history of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences” would make an interesting read in the days we are spending at home.

The BAS is the first institution of the Third Bulgarian Kingdom and was established even before its restoration.
