Bulgaria fulfills its obligations to fight frauds with EU funds

The partnership with the European Anti-Fraud Office is of great significance for Bulgaria, Premier Boyko Borissov said at a meeting with the Director General of OLAF Ville Itälä. Ville Itälä is on his first official visit of to Bulgaria. The Director General of OLAF said he was impressed by the achievements of Bulgaria in the fight against smuggling and voiced hopes that the excellent cooperation between the Bulgarian Services and OLAF will continue. Premier Borissov explained that Bulgaria is fulfilling its obligations in full to report irregularities linked with the European funds and programmes.  We launched a legislation which guarantees that any information and doubts about irregularities are subject to verifcation, Premier Borissov said.
