Bulgaria’s Financial Supervision Commission to examine Eurohold over CEZ deal

In view of the high public interest in the deal related to the acquisition of the assets of CEZ Group in Bulgaria, this country’s Financial Supervision Commission will examine Eurohold Bulgaria and key companies that are part of Eurohold to establish its financial situation and capacity given its bid to acquire the Bulgarian assets of CEZ Group, including CEZ Distribution Bulgaria and CEZ Electro Bulgaria. By law, power distributors are part of the European critical infrastructure with a direct relation to national security, the Financial Supervision Commission announced.
