70% of the Bulgarian citizens intend to vote at the forthcoming elections for European Parliament in May, the latest survey of Mediana sociological agency shows. The coalition GERB-SDS will earn 31.5% of the votes and GERB will rely mainly on the so-called “hard-core followers” at these elections, the survey further shows. The Bulgarian Socialist Party can rely on the support of 32.1% of the voters, or 0.6% more as compared to the support of GERB-SDS altogether. The Movement for Rights and Freedoms is the third party which will send MEPs to the new European Parliament for sure. Volya, VMRO and Ataka parties which are currently represented at the Bulgarian National Assembly also stand a chance of reaching the 5.88% threshold, in order to send an MEP to the European Parliament.
