On May 21 four popular vocal groups are to perform pieces by Academician Nikolay Kaufman in THEATRO (Sofia). The renowned Bulgarian musicologist, folklorist and composer Nikolay Kaufman passed away at the end of March this year. The concert will be held in memory of Academician Kaufman. The audience will enjoy the performance of the Mystery of Bulgarian Voices Choir, Vanya Moneva Choir, Te Deum Adoramus chamber formation and Svetoglas Quartet. Stylist Mitko Dimov, a friend of Kaufman family and a big fan of Academician Kaufman’s works is among the organizers of the event. I was fortunate and honored to know this great person.
