Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova stated in parliament, that the procurement engineering, delivery and construction procedure for a Greece-Bulgaria gas interconnection starts on 30 April.
If the procedure goes ahead satisfactorily, construction shall be commissioned for the last quarter of 2018, with commercial exploitation set for 2020. The project could receive a 39 million euro grant, Minister Petkova added.
