The expressway between Sofia and the border with Serbia is expected to be ready within two years and a half, said Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Nikolay Nankov after his meeting with Serbia’s Deputy Prime Minister Zorana Mihajlović.

The budget for sustainable projects on either side of the border, connected with the environment, youth policies, tourism, etc., amounts to almost 35 million euro, said Minister Nankov and added that connecting along the Danube is a top priority for Bulgaria. The two countries have set themselves a timeframe of around 6 months in which to drastically reduce roaming prices.
