The number of Bulgarians who bought holiday properties in this country in 2017 is equal to the number of Russian nationals who signed real estate deals in Bulgaria. According to the latest analyses of a Bulgarian real estate company, 35% of the properties were bought by Bulgarian citizens and 36% of the holiday real estate was purchased by Russian citizens. The Bulgarian property market is stable, the analysis further reads. Real estate brokers contend that the number of people, including ones working abroad, showing interest in investing in holiday properties has increased. Investors are interested mainly in properties in Sozopol, Burgas and Pomorie. There is a separate group of buyers from Israel who, once visiting this country for holiday, decide to buy a property in this country. 10% of all clients who bought holiday properties in Bulgaria are citizens of Israel.
