NSI reports on growth in industry, construction and retail trade

According to a recent survey of the National Statistical Institute, industrial production and retail trade saw an improvement in November 2016. NSI also reports on an unexpected growth in construction. In November last year the Industrial Production Index in Bulgaria increased with 1.6% as compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, the Construction Production Index rose by 4.7% as compared to October 2016. In November 2016 the turnover in retail trade excluding trade of automobiles and motorcycles increased with 0.9% as compared to October 2016, while turnover in trade saw an increase of 6.1% on an annual basis.
