Bulgarian chess GM Ivan Cheparinov won the Masters tournament at the traditional Gibraltar Chess Festival. According to the rules of the tournament, to determine the champion when players have equal score, playoffs are played immediately after completion of the parties. Kaloyan Mahlyanov Kotooshu is already a Japanese citizen. The 30-year-old sumo wrestler has received Japanese citizenship and now has the opportunity to become a coach.
