Bulgartransgaz Energy Company has no obligations to supply gas to Overgas Company, CEO of Bulgarian Energy Holding Jacklen Cohen told the Bulgarian National Radio. On Wednesday Bulgartransgaz received a letter from Russian Energy Company Gazprom Export addressed to Overgas. Later, Premier Boyko Borissov held an emergency meeting with all directors of Bulgarian energy companies. The Russian letter read that as of January 1, 2016, the volumes of gas supply for Overgas are zero, i.e Bulgartransgaz has not obligations to deliver gas to Overgas as of that date, Jacklen Cohen said. This could affect nearly 200,000 Bulgarians who use natural gas delivered by Overgas.
