On December 29 hall #6 of the National Palace of Culture will host a chamber concert of prominent violinist Mario Hossen entitled The Four Seasons. The event is part of the New Year music festival, which started in the beginning of December and is to close in the first day of the New Year. The programme of the concert covers works by Antonio Vivaldi, Tomaso Albinoni and Nicolo Paganini. The performance of Mario Hosen, who lectures at New Bulgarian University, will be accompanied by the Orpheus Academic Orchestra. The string formation of 20 musicians, all alumnae of the NBU, has been created at the initiative of Hossen himself.
Meeting Christmas and New Year with baroque evening concerts is a tradition for maestro Hossen. In his words, the audience can expect “the European Christmas spirit combined with the characteristic for Bulgarian musicians depth and virtuosity”.
