The great opera singer Montserrat Caballé is in Bulgaria for a concert in the National Palace of Culture in Sofia. Late on Tuesday the opera diva arrived together with her daughter Marti in the Bulgarian capital city, while today the Bulgarian National Radio hosted the meeting of Montserrat Caballé with media, which was shown, live on the web site of the radio. Montserrat Caballé was on a wheel chair due to an injury she received in Spain, where she fell down stairs during a master’s class, but still the concert in Bulgaria was not cancelled. The Symphony Orchestra of the BNR was selected to accompany Montserrat Caballé and Montserrat Marti during the concert. Montserrat Caballé also received the "Sirak Skitnik" radio award from Director General of the Bulgarian National Radio, Radoslav Yankulov.
