Bulgarian Patriarch Daniil held prayer service for 100th Forest Week

His Holiness the Bulgarian Patriarch Danil officiated at the opening of the 100th anniversary edition of Forest Week, as announced on the Bulgarian Patriarchate website. The service was held in the square in front of the Patriarchal Cathedral of St Alexander Nevsky and was also attended by President Rumen Radev.
Recalling the story of creation, Patriarch Daniil emphasised that "caring for nature is not only for us and our existence on this earth, but also our responsibility for everything entrusted to us by the Creator".
In the square in front of the Patriarchal Cathedral, tents were erected with themed exhibitions on reforestation, forest management and conservation - as well as the profession of forester.
