Andrii Sybiha and Georg Georgiev discuss security in the Black Sea region

Bulgaria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Georg Georgiev took part in the NATO foreign ministers meeting in Brussels on 4 April, 2025. Within the frameworks of the forum, Minister Georgiev met with his Ukrainian counterpart Andrii Sybiha; the two discussed ways to strengthen security in the Black Sea region.  

“I was glad to meet with my Bulgarian counterpart @gdgueorguiev to discuss our bilateral cooperation and ways to strengthen security of the Black Sea region. I elaborated on the status of peace efforts and the current battlefield situation. Grateful to Bulgaria for its support,” wrote Andrii Sybiha on X.
