Grigor Dimitrov has reached the fourth round of the tennis tournament in Shanghai

The best Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov has qualified for the round of 16 of the Masters tournament in Shanghai. The Bulgarian won 7:6(5), 6:2 against Alexei Popyrin (Australia). This has been the 4th match between the two tennis players as each has two wins.

For a place in the quarterfinals, Dimitrov will play against Jakub Menšík from Czechia, who is No. 64 in the world rank list. In April, the Bulgarian lost to the 19-year-old Menšík at the Masters tournament in Madrid. 

In 2023, Dimitrov reached the semi-finals in Shanghai, where he lost to Andrey Rublev - Russia.
