The folklore ensemble ''Rodina'' to represent Bulgaria at the European Union Cultural Festival in Ottawa

The Bulgarian folklore ensemble ''Rodina'', led by Rayna Stamatova, will represent our country at the annual European Union Cultural Festival, which will be held in Lansdowne Park in Ottawa on July 13, 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced. A total of 12 European countries will present their cultural programs at the festival.

The Embassy of Bulgaria in Ottawa is among the co-organizers of the event and will participate with its own pavilion, where visitors can taste wine and food from our country and receive informational materials about Bulgaria. Entrance is free of charge.

The purpose of the festival is to make the culture, customs and traditions of the EU member states more visible and accessible, as well as to acquaint local citizens with the uniqueness of individual countries and regions in Europe.
