Gymnastics: Valentina Georgieva wins bronze on the beam at the World Championships in Cairo

Valentina Georgieva won the bronze medal in the beam final at the artistic gymnastics world championships in Cairo. The winner was Kaylia Nemour from Algeria, the silver medal went to Jo Kyong Byol from North Korea.


For Valentina Georgieva, the European vault silver medallist, this is her second World Cup medal of the season. Earlier she won gold on vault in Osijek, Croatia.


Dimitar Dimitrov and Eddie Penev finished fourth and seventh respectively in today's vault final.


Bulgaria finishes the World Championships in Cairo with two medals, as Edi Penev also won a silver medal in the floor final.
