Having made a triumphant return to EXPO 2025 in Osaka, Japan, after 55 years, Bulgaria's pavilion at the world expo is enjoying huge interest.

"The investment interest of Japanese entrepreneurs shows that we are on the right track," said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Innovation and Growth Tomislav Donchev, who officially opened the Bulgarian national pavilion. "We are presenting the new image of Bulgaria in an elegant and tasteful way. In addition to a country with unique products such as rose oil and yoghurt, we should also show the capabilities of Bulgarian industry and demonstrate that our economy is much more than these two products alone," Donchev said.

"We are also presenting Bulgarian culture, traditions, history and our place in the modern digital world as a country - a source of innovation, technology and artificial intelligence," added Bulgarian Ambassador to Japan Marieta Arabadjieva.

The Bulgarian pavilion is located in the most prestigious area and in a key location - next to one of the main entrances, between the pavilions of the Netherlands and Singapore. The Bulgaria Day within the exhibition is scheduled for 18 May.
