The Bulgarian military contingent, which successfully returned from a peacekeeping mission in Kosovo, was welcomed with a ceremonial ritual in the central square of Asenovgrad. About 120 servicemen left 6 months ago and all have returned without any incidents.

"In difficult and dynamic conditions, you carried out your duty with honor, dignity and professionalism, strengthening the trust and authority of the Bulgarian Army among our allies and partners", said Brigadier General Hristo Hristov, Chief of Staff of the Joint Forces Command, during the welcome ceremony.
