For the first time in Bulgaria a real Venetian Carnival will be held today at 7:00 p.m.. Guests of the Military Club in Sofia will have the opportunity to enjoy the Venetian elegance and tradition. They will receive a Venetian mask - made and painted by hand, and will attend live performances by Venetian artists. Music, theater, dance and typical carnival jokes performed by masked jugglers and stilt walkers will be part of the event.
The event is organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, with the support of the Embassy of Italy in Sofia and in cooperation with the Italian Cultural Institute in Sofia and the Veneto region.
