A third supermarket boycott has been announced for today. This time the organisers are calling not only for a halt to shopping in large stores, but also to banking transactions - withdrawals, deposits, transfers and payments.
The organisations behind the initiative are also calling on people to gather in front of the Bulgarian National Bank at 6pm, where a protest against bank charges will be organised.

After the first boycott of food chains, reported sales fell by 4 million euro (more than 28 per cent) compared to the previous day, while after the second boycott, losses amounted to 562 000 euro (4 per cent).
