Weather forecast: A cool morning and a warm winter day

On Wednesday, minimum temperatures will range between minus 5° C. and zero, lower in the Northeastern parts of the country where they will drop down to minus 7° C., for Sofia around minus 1° C. During the day the weather will be predominantly cloudy in Western Bulgaria, and sunny over the Eastern part of the country with a temporary increase of mid and high clouds. Maximum temperatures 5-10° C., reaching 6-11° C. in regions with persistent fog, for Sofia around 9° C.  

Over the mountains there will be considerable clouds over the mountains in Western Bulgaria, no precipitation is in the forecast. Over the mountains in the Eastern part of the country the weather will be predominantly sunny with a temporary increase of clouds. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m 5° C., at 2,000 m. around zero.

Over the Black Sea coastline, the weather will be predominantly sunny, maximum temperatures 7-8° C., temperature of the sea water 4-5° C., sea state 1.2.  

On Thursday the cloud cover will begin to increase and thicken after midnight, and during the day the weather will be cloudy. During the day there will be rain from the South. Daytime temperatures will drop by 2-3 degrees.
