Weather forecast for 15 February

Temperatures will drop over the weekend with light rain and snow showers expected

On Saturday it will be mostly cloudy with occasional sunny spells in the Upper Thracian Lowlands. In eastern Bulgaria there will be light to moderate east-northeasterly winds. Minimum temperatures will be between minus 1° and 4°C, around minus 1° in Sofia. Maximum temperatures will be in a wide range, from 3° - 5°C in northern Bulgaria to 10° - 12°C in the south. In Sofia, the maximum temperature will be around 6°C. Rain showers will start in the south-eastern parts of the country overnight towards Sunday.

Over the mountains it will be mostly cloudy, but almost without precipitation. In the afternoon, the Rilo-Rhodope Mountains will see temporary breaks and decreases in cloudiness, with moderate winds from the west. The maximum temperature will be around 3°C at 1,200 metres, and around minus 2°C at 2,000 metres.

It will be mostly cloudy along the Black Sea coast. There will be moderate east-northeast winds. Maximum temperatures will be between 5°C and 10°C. The water temperature will be 5°-7°C. The swell will be around 1-2.
