Petko Slavov is a complex artist. In the field of music we know him as a songwriter and performer (singer, bassist and guitarist) in his solo projects and in the bands Airbag, Terpentina and the band of the "Night Birds" show on BNT.
"Last Days" (Posledni dni) is Petko Slavov's first new single after his two solo albums from 2014 and 2022. As always, he himself is the author of the music, lyrics and arrangement, as the only guest musician in this song is drummer Martin Profirov.
Petko Slavov told us more about the new single:
"This idea is probably 22 years old - the riff itself is so old, it has gone through many transformations. There are probably ten different versions before the melody finally crystallized. The lyrics always come last. They are the most difficult thing because for a pop song it is very important to have strong lyrics and a memorable melody. If we are to find meaning in these lyrics - let's live as if this was our last day."
