Cloudy weather and higher temperatures expected on Friday

On Friday morning, there will be fog in the lowlands and valleys. The cloud cover will start to increase from the west. The lowest temperatures will be between minus 2°C and 3°C, around minus 1°C in Sofia. During the day, there will be temporary increases in cloud cover from west to east, with a chance of light rain in some places. The wind will come from the west-northwest, and in the Danubian Plain, it will increase to moderate. The maximum temperatures will range from 10°C to 15°C, around 12°C in Sofia.

In the mountains, there cloud cover will increase. There will be light rain in some areas and light snow above 1,800 meters. There will be strong westerly and northwesterly wind. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be 9°C, at 2,000 meters around 1°C.

It will be cloudy along the Black Sea coast, with a chance of light rain along the northern portion of the coastline. Daytime highs will be between 10°C and 12°C. The sea water temperature is 7°C -9°C. Sea swell- 2.

On Saturday, there will be northerly and northeasterly winds and the temperatures in Northeastern Bulgaria will drop by 4°C-5°C. The temperatures will remain relatively high in the rest of the country. In the morning, there is a chance of light rain in some areas in Eastern Bulgaria. During the day, the cloud cover will decrease and it will be sunny in many areas.
