Weather forecast for January 22

Daytime temperatures will rise, but it will be cloudy in the morning

On Wednesday in the morning hours when temperatures will be slightly below zero, there will be conditions for black ice to form. The lowest temperatures will be between minus 4 and 1°C; in Sofia it will be around minus 2°C. Before noon, the cloudiness will remain significant, but will begin to break up and decrease and by the end of the day over most of the country it will be mostly sunny. The highest temperatures will reach 6 to 11°C; in the capital city it will be around 6°C.

In the mountains there will be significant cloudiness and in some places, mainly before noon, light snowfall is expected. In the afternoon, the cloudiness will decrease. The highest temperature at an altitude of 1200 m. will be 4°C; at 2000 m. - around minus 2°C.

At the Black Sea coast there will be significant cloudiness before noon, and the afternoon will be mostly sunny. The highest temperatures will be 9 - 11°C. Sea water temperature is 8-9°C.
