Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 21 January 2025

Morning fog, cloudy skies at daytime, sunshine at noon expected on Tuesday

On Tuesday, in the morning hours it will be foggy or with low layered clouds. Minimum temperatures will be between minus 5 and 0°C, in Sofia - around minus 3°C. During the day, the cloud cover over the country will be significant. Around noon, it will temporarily break over many regions. In the evening, light rain will fall in Southwestern Bulgaria and there will be conditions for ice there. 

Maximum temperatures on Tuesday will be from 4 to 9°C, slightly lower in the valleys. In the capital - around 2°C.

In the mountains, the cloud cover will be significant. In the evening, light snow will fall in places over the southwestern massifs. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. will be 4°C, at 2,000 m. - around minus 1°C.

Along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, it will be cloudy. Maximum temperatures will be at 9-10°C. 

On Wednesday, significant precipitation is not expected, but there is an increased probability of light rain. 

In the Balkans tomorrow, the cloudiness will be more often significant with rain precipitation in the southwestern half. There, it will snow in the mountains. In the morning hours, visibility in the plain areas will be reduced. Highs will reach 14°C in Athens, 8°C in Bucharest, 2°C in Belgrade, and 10°C in Istanbul.
