The latest project by director Stefan Komandarev, "The Block Universe", is one of the 35 selected projects at the most important global forum for film co-productions, the Berlinale Co-Production Market. Every year there are hundreds of candidates, the selection process takes several months and the chosen ones are few, BTA reported.

"For us, this is a huge recognition of the quality of the project, which will open more doors for its successful realization as a European co-production. It was created with the efforts and talent of Ralitsa Golemanova and Pavla Kotova. Special thanks to Martina Blaise and her team for selecting ''The Block Universe"! The support of the emergency medics from the Center for Emergency Medical Care – Sofia in our research was invaluable to us!'', said Stefan Komandarev.

His latest film "Blaga's Lessons" won the Crystal Globe in Karlovy Vary and several other prestigious awards.
