Prime Minister Glavchev visits Kulata border checkpoint on the occasion of Bulgaria's accession to Schengen

On the first day of the new year 2025 - January 1, at 10.30 am, caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, together with ministers and representatives of state institutions, will visit the "Kulata" border checkpoint on the border with Greece. The occasion for the visit is the official full-fledged admission of Bulgaria to the Schengen area, the government press service announced. The Prime Minister will inspect the established organization for the functioning of the checkpoint and will symbolically raise the border barrier, emphasizing the importance of this moment for facilitating movement across the borders.
