The National Council for Tripartite Cooperation discussed the draft budget for 2025. The trade unions and some of the employer organizations expressed their support for the proposal. According to Kancho Stoychev, Deputy Chair of the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association, the philosophy of the state budget was wrong.

"Our opinion is that we suddenly started spending money that exists only on paper. Germany is in a serious crisis and it is our main partner. France is heading for even greater crisis, the world is in a crisis and I do not see the buffers in this budget draft," Stoychev says. According to him, a time has come to look for ways to increase revenues. Stoychev called for the current state budget to continue operating at the beginning of 2025, and the proposed one to be rewritten.
