Bulgaria and Romania will be fully admitted to the Schengen area, said Walter Ruck, President of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce and Industry said during a meeting with Bulgarian Vice President Iliana Iotova in Vienna. Austrian businesses have always supported full membership which will accelerate business relations with Austria, he said further. “Bulgaria offers some of the best conditions for doing business,” Walter Ruck said.
On her part, Vice President Iotova said she expected rationality and wisdom of the countries members of the EU and a speedy decision for Bulgaria and Romania’s accession to Schengen by land. “Being an external EU border, Bulgaria is among the most secure countries,” she added.
