Ludmila Kaloyanova will present her novel American Triptych today at the Greenwich Book Center in Sofia. This was announced by the publishers of Janet 45 Publishing House.

"American Triptych is a book about our unhealed wounds and possible or impossible redemption. A story about guilt and repentance, about lost and found identity, told against the backdrop of the fate of three generations of emigrants in America," says writer Zdravka Vladova-Momcheva. According to her, the merits and contributions of the novel to the flow of contemporary Bulgarian literature are related to the transformation of nostalgia into a creative process for resurrecting the past, as well as to the "constant openness" of the narrative to options and possibilities, BTA writes.

Kaloyanova is the author of several books, including the poetry collection Nomad and the historical and cultural work Between the Laurel and the Cross, dedicated to Sozopol, the author's birthplace.

Ludimila Kaloyanova is vice president of the Bulgarian Writers League in the USA and Abroad, whose headquarters are in Chicago. The mission of the league is to unite and support the activities of the Bulgarian creative diaspora and actively cooperates in the promotion of Bulgarian culture and spirituality.
