MEPs from the Europe of Sovereign Nations Group in the European Parliament have met with Bulgarian MPs from “Vazrazhdane” party in the National Assembly.
“The creation of a Europe of sovereign nations is an old common dream,” party leader Kostadin Kostadinov said at the opening of the "Parliamentarism and Democracy” working meeting. He added that the focus of the group is on topics that are neglected, ignored and rejected in the European Union.
The leader of “Vazrazhdane” pointed out that the group’s goal was to return Europe to the people. According to him, one of the problems that threaten Europe is illegal migration.
“Today we have an ideological foreign policy that aims to teach others in the world, instead of conducting peaceful trade, and an urgent change is needed here,” said chair of the Europe of Sovereign Nations Group, Rene Aust.
