GERB leader Boyko Borissov said on the sidelines of the National Assembly that he expects a parliamentary speaker to be elected next week.

"I signed their main demands and sent them," he commented on the request of "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" to form a sanitary cordon around Delyan Peevski's party "DPS - New Beginning".

"I have heard from Mr. Borissov that he agrees to the sanitary cordon - if this is true, I see no obstacle on their part to have a leadership meeting," said Nadezhda Yordanova from PP-DB. She repeated the position expressed to Raya Nazaryan from GERB that without a conversation between the leaders of the two formations and a political agreement reached, the experts can hardly do anything.
